Used during hoof trimming for control.

Used for checking five following parameters:

• Checking the angle between the sole and the dorsal part of the hoof wall
• Measurement of the length of the dorsal hoof wall
• Comparison of height of inner and outer hoof
• Ensuring that optimal contact between hoof sole and surface is achieved
• Visual control of the roundness of the sole.
